The conference of associations and leaders organised by the Sasse Old Boys Association in Nordrhein Westfalen (SOBA-NRW e.V) with the theme of coordinating the activities of Cameroonians in Germany was a resounding success. Over 25 Cameroonian associations and community leaders participated in this first session which was held in Essen, Germany.

According to the president of SOBA-NRW e.V, Clement Nkamanyi, the most important issue is to get the associations and leaders present the common problems Cameroonians face, analyse them, look for possible solutions and define the steps needed to attempt to solve some, if not all of them. He mentioned that the state of Nordrhein Westfalen has made many changes to its laws to ease and promote the integration of migrants and that these possibilities should be exploited. Read more...

SOBA-NRW invites leaders to conference of Associations and Community leaders

SOBA-NRW e.V.  has, in the past months been reflecting on how best to harness the force of the Cameroonian Diaspora in Germany.

As much as the number of Cameroonians in Germany is growing, so are the issues they shall have to confront. There are a couple of action plans we could undertake to improve our lives and those of generations to come.

Our actions now determine how best we live in this country and what future we build for our children. We are responsible for our destiny.

H.E Ambassador Mpay to patronize the 10th Anniversary and 10th Convention of the Sasse Old Boys association in Germany

The executive board of the Sasse Old Boys Association made a displacement to the Cameroonian Embassy in Berlin on Saturday 28th of January 2012 to personally deliver the invitation and request to patronize the 10th anniversary and convention of the Sasse Old Boys Association Nordrhein Westfalen e.V. (SOBA-NRW e.V) scheduled to hold on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of July 2012.

2011 was a successful year for us. We would like to thank all our members, fans and sympathizers for their confidence in us. Without you, we would not have achieved the great convention we had this year. 2012 is going to be another great year. It is our 10th anniversary and 10th convention.
