Members of SOBA-NRW understand that there are a lot of underprivileged persons out there whose lives could be changed with small contributions we make.
At the end of the year 2006, we reflected on that fact that in our days in Sasse college, we got up early in the morning and used cutlasses to put away the ever growing green grass around the campus. We also carried out such activity most evenings before going for supper. Considering the fact that the campus is very large, it was a never-ending activity. With this in mind, the association bought a lawn mower which it then handed to the college to relieve the students from such manual labour.
As from this year, the association has decided to take its social responsibility to another level by definitely defining its areas of activities and its methods of engaging in development projects - this in the hope of providing optimal help to those who really need them.
